We live in Vancouver, Washington, and I take our pets to Dr. Rick Weidnaar at the Orchards Vet Clinic. We have a long history with Dr. Rick; he cared for our cat, Michiye, when we lived here from 1979-1981.
Upon moving back here in 1995 I took our pets back to Dr. Rick. He is gentle, thorough, and something of a miracle worker. Our cat, Bob, was attacked by something (we think a coon) and was almost gone. Dr. Rick had Bob back on his feet and home in 3 days! When Bob developed kidney failure and we decided to put him down, Dr. Rick was most sensitive. They had a warm blanket to lay Bob on, and gave him a shot to calm him before them inserted the IV.
Dr. Rick is simply the best vet I have ever seen. Our pets will go to him as long as he is in business!
