I was just thinking Rimadyl is going to be your vet's choice (and it has some side effects), buffered aspirin is probably better, but you still have to be careful. The dosage for buffered aspirin is 5 - 15 mg. per pound of body weight. I would go with the lowest dose the 5 mg. per pound. You're going to have to find a low dose buffered aspirin and give a portion of it.

Take her weight and multiply by 5 - this will give you the mg. dosage and then you will have to divide the pill taking into consideration the mg. of the whole pill.

If she doesn't seem to have any swelling or discomfort, skip the buffered aspirin.
