I had a doxie that was a mass murderer. Killed birds, chipmunks, mouse, rabbits, anything he could catch. Sometimes, he would be in the backyard for days stalking one of his victims.
It is very instinctive. I've been told that dogs usually will not hurt a puppy because they know it is their own kind. But I think, if you ever get another puppy, I wouldn't trust him along with it. |
