I haven't tried the detergent stuff yet but I've been using the fabric softner for a while now. I use the lavender scented on all my bedding and Reagan's bedding then the blue one(don't know the scent) on all of our clothes. I love getting in the bed when its nice and fresh and the smell is great, very soothing. I think, at least for my husband and I, when we get into bed the smell makes us get into a relaxed/sleepyish mood.
