Thats just what I was thinking as I was reading everyones post. These dogs are so small and delicate, that even a bicycle could hurt them. It's not worth it, you should always use a leash, trust me, use a leash!!!

Gina I'm so glad lexi is ok. I'm sure your b/f was so darn scared, he just didnt know how to handle it, I'm not saying smacking her was the right thing to do, cause I never hit my baby, I dont even hit my kids, I'm a softie when it comes to disipline, I know I should be more firm with them, but I cant help it, it's the way I was raised.
But please always use a leash!
