How old is your baby? I brought Gracie home at 8 weeks and she screamed everytime I left her sight. I used the comfort pup dog bed and put one of my old slippers in her crate. She quieted down within a week. She continued to cry when I left her sight but it did not last near as long. She is now 13 weeks and only rarely lets out a peep. At 8-12 weeks they fear abandonment and have to learn that when you leave, you will come back.
