I have had my dogs get a squirrel before. I think more often than not, they got one that was hit by a car or something.

I never had any problems.

And - oh yes- mine have brought a few birds home too and other things they have found.

I live next to a state park and have a pasture in my backyard .... if I had to worry about everything my dogs or cats have ever discovered and brought home - I'd never get anything else done.
