i am freaking out. romeo found a dead squirrel and was playing with it. when i saw what he had i sceamed for him to put it down. then i started chasing him and he was running with the squirrel in his mouth. running from me. ** i called university of penn animal hospital and they were like it's no big deal if he had his shots. just come in if he has excessive vomiting. how could it be no big deal. romeo could have eaten skin, meat or fur. that thing could have diseases. it was in his mouth. holding it with his teeth. should i be worried??? please give your opinions. he's my first dog and this is new to me.
