I would worry about the emotional impact on a young pup more than the health impact. I can't imagine the citronella can hurt them if used properly, but they are still forming emotional connections and well... I dunno. At that age they haven't practiced the bad habit very long so I would teach a "quiet" command and just reinforce/reward the quiet times like crazy. |
