I am there with you ........ Maximus is only 3 months now...but I am already preparing mentally for the neuturing process although I don't believe it will be for 3-4 more months...I am uncomfortable with him staying at the vets overnight and have spoken to my vet several times about this..but he says that it will make him (Maximus) the most comfortable and so..I am preparing myself for how I will handle him being away for a day while he doesn't feel good
........ I know it is necessary but I am afraid too but I have done my homework and listened to others...thanks to this site and I know what to ask the vet and I will make sure that he has the smallest possible tube (especially since he may have a collapsed trachea..I will find out defintiely on Sat.) and I made sure that my vet had done this procedure many times with little dogs.. in the end we are doing the best for our furbabies
