We went to my uncles today, and they have ALOT of land. In their land, there is a huge field with tall grass, and unfortunatly a lot of those sticky weeds that are live velcro! He came out with huge pieces of grass sticking off him, and when I went to pull one off his ear, he screamed! I thought it was jabbed in him, but it was like glued with those velcro things!! He has them on his throat, right ear, and right leg. We tried getting them out, but the seeds are so close to his skin, I don't want to cut him. My mom said with in a week they should dry up and fall out, but I feel so bad for him. THey dont bother him, he only itched them a couple times, but it's so wierd to pet him now...my poor baby
Has this ever happened to anyone elses dog? Anyone know any easy tricks to get them out, besides cutting and taking him to a groomer?
