There was one special toy that Muffin loved and it was a stuffed doggie that was bigger than her when I got her. She loved that thing so much. She dragged it around with her for 14 years. By the time she left us, it had been washed so many times I couldn't begin to count. It had no eyes, no nose, and no mouth. It was threadbare over much of its body and had shrunk in size so much. But she still loved it. It had to have a number of stitches occasionally for some of its injuries, too.
