I got Debbie through an ad in the newspaper. I didn't even know about yorkie discussion groups at the time. I know it's not the most recommended way but if you know what to look for in a puppy, I don't think it's as risky. If you just go in there not knowing anything about the standard and how a puppy should look at a certain age you could get taken advantage of but it looks like you've been doing some research.
I would never buy a puppy without seeing it first. It's too easy for someone to ship you a different puppy. I also wouldn't want to subject a little animal to that plane ride all by itself in a carrier. I know plenty of people do it but I don't think it's a good idea. |
