Yorkies rarely have back claws, but it happens and they need to be removed..back ones cause alot of problems. I find the front need to be removed also..many pet owners forget to clip the nail..as a retired groomer I have had to remove an ingrown nail from the poor dogs leg more then once..makes grooming easier and no fear of the nail getting caught on things and being ripped out..had that happen to a Doxie.
