I have hardwood in the entry, kitchen and breakfast area and Zoie rarely pees on it. It does clean up easy, but if it was left all day and got down in the cracks between the wood, I could see it causing problems and stinking even. I don't give her run of it while I'm out though, so I don't worry about that.
