I've never used any of the products you used. But, there is one peice of advise that was passed onto me by a hairdresser and I've latched onto it. When working with greasy and oily products and you want to make sure you get everything out without damaging your hair, in this case coat. Add baking powder to your shampoo. It's the one of the most natural was of clarifying a coat. My Go-Go had an ear infection and I was treating with Otomax (greasy) and was do to show her and tried her recommendation......got all the oilyness out......

Oh wow, thanks! I appreciate the info and would have never thought something so simple could fix some of my worst probs. I bathed my boy in Coat Handler's clarifying twice before I got it out. Thanks Mardelin!!
