Max was 2 pounds at 8 weeks. The place I got him at told me he would weigh 4 pounds fully grown and was a "teacup."I knew that wasn't going to happen when he weighed in at 4.5 pounds at 4 months. He'll be 5 months old on the 16th and I just weighed him by holding him on my scale and then putting him down and deducting - He's about 5.5 pounds.
He's a standard - you can tell by his long legs and long body which are now nicely filling in. (I wasn't going to buy at a pet store - I was going to find a reputable breeder, check out the parents, try and get one that was housebroken already, etc., etc. - but then I went into a pet store just to hold a yorkie since I had never really connected with one before. Of course, I immediately fell madly in love with him and he was living with me within an hour. Thank God he's healthy, because I'm fairly sure that he's from a puppy mill). So much for my dainty little teacup!
