Definitely need to keep that one in a puppy proof enviroment. I have heard of them eating socks (which don't show up on x-ray) and all kinds of things. My concern would be that the wire wool was made of lead and I think that would be a problem even in a small amount. I would call the vet and at least see what he says. I know if a human ingests glass and I would think bits of wire wool would be similar you're suppose to feed them a cotton that collects the glass, but don't know if a cotton ball is too large and may cause an intestinal blockage in dogs.
