I just saw of your other threads about Reese having diarrhea, maybe it was the Petsmart goodies? Anyway, at 10 weeks, he is really too young to be going to Petsmart. Wait until he at least has all of his parvo vaccines 16 or 20 weeks. You've heard never put your dog down anywhere in a vet's office because of health risks and their offices are sterilized (and made for complete sterilization) at least once a day. Hundreds of dogs walk through a Petsmart and although I do believe they try to keep the floors sanitized. I know they don't sanitize the carts and can't sanitize the whole store.
Many Yters take their dogs, so if you feel good about it take Darla and let her have all the attention, but leave the puppy at home at least for now. |
