Chewy is from a pet shop and he is doing great! My best friends Yorkie is a few years old and has never been sick yet... doing great! I know how people feel about pet shops but I have heard alot about people buying from a breeder that they were told was good... only to find out that they were not. I met a woman today who's dog was supposed to be a toy breed, and her dog is huge... Like 30 pounds! (Not a yorkie) they don't even have papers on this dog. the papers they got were not real or something!
I know you have to do your home work to find a really good breeder. But not every dog that comes from a pet store is in horrible health. i think the worst thing is that you are helping the puppy mills stay open. But don't these poor dogs need a home too? I can look at this like I saved him and he is our baby and we love him. After everything I have read and heard I would have a hard time trusting a pet store or a breeder... Unless you know the breeder personally how can any one KNOW they are not being lied to?
