Here's the update. Good news!
I called the vet when my husband got home to see if any opening had come available before we went down there (we were just going to walk in and wait on an emergency basis) and they had a 7 pm appt. So between 4 and 7, she has eaten a bunch of chicken and drank some water about an hour ago and she has not thrown it up as of yet!!!!!!!! YAY TINK! I called the vet back and talked to a tech and asked if I should still come in. She said that she sounds ok to go through the night and made me an appt for the morning just in case she has another bad night.
I hope she has a better night tonight. xxxcrossing fingersxxx
