Oh Brooke that is wonderful. Sounds like you are on your way to a happy home. Breaking the biting cycle may have to hurt more than you. If all the bitter tonics don't work, then a thump on the nose might. That is working better for me than anything. As I give Maggie a quick thump, I tell her NO BITE. After the thump she sneezes and strikes at me again, (just like a rattlesnake) without biting. Kinda cute. It's like she's getting the last word in. If she could talk, it would be the shortest little curser in town. |
