Are you sure she hasn't come into heat? My girl did and if it weren't for the fact that I put a white sheet in her bed one night I wouldn't of known she was in heat. She had very little bleeding and on top of that kept herself very clean. She also didn't have that much swelling. I would make a vet appointment and get her checked out. (Just to be on the safe side.)
