Wow - I'm WAY not a snob either and that's kind of hard to hear - whether it be yorkies or any other breed - dogs all have their own personalities - My girls are the Queens in the house and protective of me - but take them out and they are total opposites and VERY well behaved. Too much so that I usually end up carrying them...they aren't around alot of dogs or people but they aren't vicious little yappers in public....
Artie - people may be reading your body language and in turn - acting standoffish - I can usually tell when someone is looking down on me when I'm out and they usually get a smile
and the same treatment right back at them. It never bothers me - but it IS noticeable
