Default You poor thing!! Hope this helps!

I have been reading the Dog Whisperer book...Cesar's Way...I really like it and think it makes sense for the most part.
He does say to not make a big deal when leaving or coming back from the house with your dog. I am matter of fact about the leaving...A quick kiss and bye and in the crate he goes... I pay no attention to whining because I don't want it to continue. As far as coming back into the house... If Chewy is in his cage I come in... don't make eye contact as I put my things down, I open the cage with in about 3 min and then he comes out and we have time together... Cesar says a pack leader would not make a huge deal about coming and going... You want to come across like the leader... But I do a combination because I can't just ignore my baby... I feel you can invite you pup up on the couch to snuggle, or to sleep with you...I think the point is if there is aggression you have to be the one inviting... If there is any aggression I would make them get down. do a little research and make an educated discission if you have doubts about this trainer! THat's what I would do.
