Try Ebay, mine is a digiweigh, it is a postal scale, VERY ACCURATE! It was about $25 with shipping and is digital. It even has a postage rate thingie on it, so you can see how much your pup would cost to mail it, haha!
As far as weights, I have 2 8 week olds right now that are 1 lb 8.5 ounces, and 1 lb 10.2 ounces.. growing like little weeds.
