I think Chico is socially confused. He barks like crazy all the way to the dog park, but once he gets in the gate he rolls over on his back for every dog. He doesn't really interact with the dogs or the people- he really only wants to play fetch with his ball. Also, he barks pretty agressively at other dogs on our walks, but his tail is wagging and when we let them smell each other he is fine until they walk away, then he starts barking at them again. I've thought of getting another doggie, but not sure if his behavior needs to improve before we do that. Any ideas? |
