I use the dog litter box also... before and after... I have it in an xpen... in the corner... the lower part against the back side... Once the pups start climbing/falling out... I turn it around so the lower side is away from the back panel.... The pee pads are on the opposite side of the xpen.
The dog litter box is easy to clean when they make their messes!!!
