I've been pretty happy with VPI pet ins. It costs me $28/month. It was about $21 for regular ins, then I added a "rider" for $7 for annual shots, etc. Out of the first $900 in bills, we got back about $675. He was sick with pancreatitis. They do exclude any preexisting conditions...he has allergies and was diagnosed with them a year before we got the ins. and his shots are not covered. A few of our vet appts weren't covered either (for ear problems) because they attributed that to the allergies. But, overall, I am satisfied...I've already made out for the next few years.
