WOW! I think that is alot - I know my vet is more than reasonable though....
over the summer my old dog got sick while we were on vacation. My daughter took him to our vet. He kept him for over 24 hours, on IV's until I could call in and talk to him. He had to put my sweetheart to sleep (he was in renal failure) and he only charged me $25.00 for all of that! I was astounded - I thought the 24 hour stay would have been way expensive.
I know that I am lucky!
