It just takes a couple of days for their little tummies to get used to the ML, just like a new food. I only gave Hobbs 1/4 tsp. starting out and it messed up his tummy. But, after a week he was perfectly fine. After 2 weeks once his tummy was settled, I started increasing his dose. Now he gets 1/2 tsp. a day. It is worth the inital upset tummy because his skin is no longer dry and flaky and his coat is SO shiny and soft! I love this stuff!
