The only suggestions I can offer are to enroll in classes if there are any available where you live and keep going back if the first class works out fairly well. I assume he is neutered. They say that helps. You probably already walk him a lot where he is around a lot of people. If you work, perhaps you could take him to work occasionally and take treats with you and if someone wants to pet him, have them offer a small treat instead so that he'll recognize that people won't hurt him. Whenever people come to your house, have them offer a treat as well. Also, if you could have a trainer come to your house a few times, they can help you deal with the problem so that you can work with him and train him yourself after they leave. That's about all I can think of.
