The only way for me to feel safe about my boy is for him to ride zipped up in his carrier and I also buckle the carrier up... I might be a little overprotective but I can't imagine him sitting on the sit and being thrown places as the car moves, goes through bumps, swerves etc... I KNOW he wouldn't be able to stay in the seat (and I don't drive like a maniac ). But I take him to work every day and it's about 30 min drive, I want him to be comfortable as well.
