As for the beds there is a problem with some of the dogs destroying them or soiling them so they have to take them and wash them then put them back. There is also a destructive puggle that loves to chew them up (lucky he's cute)! They walk them 2x in the morning and 2x in the afternoon but they only take 1 at a time. During the lunch time they are put in kennels, fed lunch while the staff cleans the rooms. There are 2 daycare attendants in the am & 2 in the pm (they are all vet techs). It's a small place so no, there cannot be anyone in there playing with them all day. That would be ideal however unrealistic.
Hallie has never really enjoyed going to daycare, she would much prefer to stay at home but it has done so much for her socialization. And Simon has been going to daycare since he was 5 months old and it helps with his energy level. And I would never dream of taking just Simon, poor little guy would look for Hallie all day. |
Girl...I just want to hold little Hallie when I see her huddled in the chair but I KNOW it's really good for her to do this. Wish I had one of these in my area - Now I'm spoiled and would NEVER take them to a place that didn't have a webcam lol - I think it's so good for them - and for you too - you know where they are and what they're doing....rather than picturing them home alone and waiting and waiting and waiting...for their mommy. Like mine do.
