I was going to paint toe nails too but...they are microscopic!! I put it on the back of their heads - mom's can't really lick it off if you wait til it dries to put them back with her, which doesn't take long! And just make sure it is a non toxic one! I am afraid of them getting caught on something with the ribbon/string and the polish lasts a good long time!
