Awww Gina, now you are going to make me cry, at work!! I know the feeling. I don't have kids either and I consider Nikko my baby boy. Yesterday I felt so bad about leaving him alone (hubby went back to work, he's a teacher) that I bought him a shopping bag full of cookies, flossies, bully stix, etc. I ran home to make sure he was ok. I couldn't stop worrying about him all day. They are so precious to us that we can't bear to think of what our lives would be like without them. I hope you are blessed with many many more years of special moments with your Lexi.
