Today, I got up at 5am, left home, flew to Cinncinati, Pittsburg, back to Atlanta, then to Baton Rouge... PHEWWWW, what a day!
BUT! I came home with a precious, beautiful baby! She is here with us, a little scared but doing wonderful! She was great on the plane, never uttered a peep.
She cried a little when her "Mommy Linda" left her but she adjusted pretty quick. My daughters are SO IN LOVE! and the rest of the pups cannot get over her....
Linda is so wonderful and was helpful to me through all of this and we promise to send lots of pics(as soon as I download them) of Hope and her new family. We love her very much.

OK, so you made me cry again! Most of the way to the airport, Hope whined, like she knew that would be the last time she would see me. Meeting Donna was like seeing an old friend. We sat on a grassy area and Hope only wanted to sit on my lap. Donna got out the blanket she brought and I put it on my lap for Hope to get used to the smells. Then I gave Hope in the blanket to Donna. Hope looked so beautiful right then, like a angel had her wings wrapped around her. Right then I knew I had to leave. I kept looking back as I left the airport but knowing I had to leave so Hope could bond with Donna. I watched from the top of the parking lot for a short time with tears in my eyes and I knew Hope has gone to live with the right family. Donna is wonderful!
