i have 2 seven week old puppies. my first litter. i found one of the ladies that always post threads, website i think it is yorkiepassions.com (if you read this you have a wonderful website) i went through her pics to see about when my pups would start looking cute like the irresistible pups they are NOW. i had a problem with worms!!!!!!! then i went through internet and one site said you deworm at 2 weeks then i week later then 2 weeks after that and so on. my vet told me they should be wormed at 4 weeks. so i did 4 weeks SHOCKER!!!! that was nothing nice. one of my pups had the sign which was a big round belly. anyways you should call a vet. from my experience you should call more then one and just ask about worming. i read about nemex 2 and it said it was safe on pregnant moms and puppies. i found that my local feed store had some in stock after paying more over the internet. some people on yorkietalk have said they never had a prob with worms but the 2 vets i talked to said most puppies are born with them. you should really look in to deworming. as for regular food my puppies started eating at 6 weeks. they only had cainine teeth but still ate. now at 7 weeks they are getting the other teeth in. so eating is no problem and as for crying i noticed if i let them run around for a good 20-30 min they have no problem sleeping through the night. |
