Well, we can offer all the opinions we have, but you're the one dealing with the person, and it sounds like you're doing all you can to consider all the bases, and ask all the right questions. At this point, really all you can do is trust your own instincts about the situation. I've never openly recommended my breeder on this board b/c I know that many would have issues with some of her practices, and would probably not consider her to be a "good breeder". For instance, I brought Kiki home at 8 weeks. But I was able to visit in the lady's home, and with all her dogs and family, several times, really liked what I saw, and in emails I felt like she was very frank and honest with me. FOR ME it was the right person at the right time, and I've been perfectly pleased. So hopefully all will go well for you as well!
