 Yorkie coat/color
My Gus is 4 1/2 months old and his adult coat has started growing out on his head, legs, feet, etc. However, all of his hair on his back and the majority of his body is still that jet black puppy coat with NO color change at the root area. When will that portion of his adult coat start to grow in? Since he hasn't had a change in that part of his coat, does that mean he is going to be black as an adult??? I can see the change in color on his head, muzzle, legs, and feet when I look at the roots and some of the hair is so long now that just the tips are the old color of tan or black! Just curious! Any help would be appreciated! |
