I also have a very simple recipee and it sure worked on Silk. Or maybe it was the two teaspoons of beer I gave her. Anyway, another breeder gave this to me the other day when Silk didn't have any milk.
Large pkg. of vanilla pudding (the cook kind)
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups milk
4 egg yolks.
Cook on low heat to pudding consistency (takes awhile). Give to your new mommy as much as wants to eat it two or three times a day. it does not give diarreha. If mom does not like it the first time, use a syringe and give about 20-30 cc's
Silk loved it. I mixxeed it up in her regular dog food at a separate time from her cottage cheese meal/
