The only thing i can suggest really is to put her hair up in a top knot. My Duchess is growing out her summer cut and is going through the same problem. I wish i never gave her a summer cut as her coat was beautiful before. Unfortunatley they have to go through the tatty stages to grow it out, so i would use put it in a knot.
