 Poor thing
she looks bloated. I put my lab on a diet and noticed that if anything she was getting heavier and I knew she wasn't cheating. When I took her to the vet I found out it was actually fluid retention because she has an enlarged heart (she's almost 12). Anyway, not trying to scare you or even suggest that that's what's going on. Oh, we knew my lab had an enlarged heart but it was worse than any of the vets suspected. She's doing much better now that she's on medicine for congestive heart failure and water retention. |
