But I'm a "with kids, and without fence" family, so I don't know how viable I would be for the adoption.

I will kepp everyone posted if I get an email back. I just read on their shelter page that "Out of state adoptions aren't out of the question to find a suitable home for our special babies.".

The only negative is having another dog, but I don't think that would matter, it doesn't say no other pets. So I hope they would allow someone to adopt her with another dog.
