 Both of mine have none
I have 2 from 2 different Breeders and both have had their dewclaws removed. In fact Abigail just had 3 puppies this past Saturday and I will be taking them to the Vet. for the first time tomorrow afternoon. So I will have their tails docked and their dewclaws removed. I don't think it is a matter of preference, but it is based on the Breed Standard and I as a Responsible Breeder have to follow that Standard regardless of any personal preference, besides it's not about "Me", it's for their safety. I know that 2 out of the 3 puppies are already "Sold" and I did not ask their new owners what their preference was? B/C I thought it was not a choice but a necessity? |
