Cry R.I.P - Steve Irwin, "The Crocodile Hunter"

I could totally not believe this. I still can't....

My husband was on a message board tonight and saw a thread that said something along the lines of, "I'm so sorry to hear about 'The Crocodile Hunter's' death"...and then he asked me about it...I was like, "NOPE. NO WAY, HE DIDN'T DIE" because I had heard these rumors before. So the first thing I do is go to Yahoo and sure enough on the front page there is an article about him being killed. COMPLETELY UNREAL. We were, and very much still are in TOTAL SHOCK. This is just all too weird. I was JUST watching him on t.v. a few nights ago on Animal Planet...

I feel so sorry for his wife and children. His little girl Bindi is just completely ADORABLE. What a tragic way for him to go...this is so, so sad. I have been watching Animal Planet all night since they are playing nothing but him.

This may seem weird, but I have always looked at him as almost indestructable, although I know that sounds silly as NO ONE is indestructable. He just seemed to know so much of what he was doing....and he was SO BRILLIANT at what he did.

They also caught his death on film...which is really kind of sad when you think about it. They said that when the Stingray stuck him in his chest, he pulled it out...and then just like that, he was gone. I just can't believe that he has passed away...and at such a young age, only 44.

Sheesh....totally sad, and completely, unreal.
