Reminds me of my first two litters. I was really nervous. I really didnt know a whole lot, but I thought I did. And I had two litters about a week apart!
They sure did look alike! Black and tan.............who could tell them all apart! To me they were all carbon copies. So that made me morrrrrrrrrre nervous. I couldnt tell a darn thing except the color of the puppies. Black and tan, tan and black!!!!! Oh gess how would I ever tell them apart!?
.........I marked the end of their tails with finger nail polish
One litter white, one litter bright red.
Not sure if that was the best way to mark.
But at that time it was so important! I really didnt think I could tell them apart. And it worked. They dont all look alike as they mature but as puppies they are hard to tell apart.
