 To Breed Or Not?
I really want to breed Bailey...he is beautiful...athletic, funny, good personality, gentle....etc.....
Your description fits most Yorkshire Terriers; it does not condone breeding a non-standard dog. Neuter him and enjoy him as he is. If you wish another large or oversize Yorkie, you can easily find one, as breeders will not keep them.
Also, should you have a litter of oversize pups, you will find that most buyers want small ones. I would not consider a Yorkie over seven pounds, even though I do not breed or show. I like my dogs looking like the breed they are! |
