Yes, they cut the outside of her left hip. She was also almost a year old. I've been thinking maybe I should start walking her every night and will start today. It has been over 100 degrees here so too hot for me to walk but it has cooled off now. Since she seems to forget about it outside. We are still doing the therapy every day. My vet also said she would have to realize that she can use it; that she is just used to pulling it up. He did another set of xrays the last visit and said it was healing very well. It has only been 2 months since the surgery so guess I am rushing things and worrying too soon. She goes back to the vet on the 15th. Thanks for the info, makes me feel much better. |
