For a dry coat, cold pressed fish oil is also a good supplement. It comes in many forms -- I buy fish oil capsules from GNC and feed one to each kid. They love them..... It is a riot to see them squish the soft capsule and slurp up the oil.... a bit messy, but like oh well. So that the oil wouldn't upset their tummies I started slow... I would cut a little hole in the top of a capsule and let each one share a few licks. After a week or so I started giving each one a whole capsule. |
